Little Stevie and his big brother Micheal lost their parents in an accident. Unwanted by the only family they have left; an uncle and his wife, they are sent to live in a foster home where they learn the legend of the Vent monster. It's a creepy tale about a monster who lives beneath the floorboards, slithering throughout the rooms, vent by vent, who feeds off the forgotten children.
Laughing it off as nothing more than a scare tactic used by the other foster kids, they went about their days having no idea just how much of that story was the truth.
They soon found out.
